Ka Lani Creations was founded by Bella, a Hawaiian artist based in Colorado. Here we believe that jewelry should be an expression of your personal style. That's why we offer a personalized experience, guiding you in creating stunning pieces that showcase your unique artistic vision.
You should clean your permanent jewelry regularly with mild soap and warm water using a soft-bristled toothbrush to get into the chain links. To remove surface tarnish and restore its shine, Sterling Silver can be polished with an anti-tarnish polishing cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, lotions and excessive moisture.
"Permanent" in this case refers to jewelry that is welded together onto you, so there are no clasps. This jewelry is designed to be long-lasting and durable, but not necessarily everlasting. You can cut the jewelry off if needed.
You can, although we do advise against removing the jewelry yourself, as it can damage the jewelry. If you need to remove it, cut the jump ring we welded, right next to your charm (not on the charm.) Please contact us for assistance.
If your jewelry breaks at the weld, we will re-weld it complimentary for the life of your jewelry. If the break occurs anywhere other than the weld, it will require an assessment, and repairs will start at $15+.
With proper care, permanent jewelry can last for years! However, factors like activity level, perfume, sunscreen, pool water, cleaning products, and even your sweat can affect the jewelry's lifespan.
Gold filled jewelry has a layer of real 14K gold that is pressure-bonded to high quality jewelers brass and contains 5% gold by weight. It is more durable than gold-plated jewelry, but it can still tarnish over time, especially with everyday wear.
